to be grateful for—and sometimes we all overlook them when life gets hectic.

Now is the perfect time to reflect.

3 Things Lawyers Should Be Thankful For

1. Our communication skills. We have the ability to advocate for “the little guy” and those who wouldn’t otherwise get a fair shake—and we use our communication skills to help people understand their stories.

2. Our clients. Without our clients, who trust us to put their best interests first, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. We have the ability to make huge differences in our clients’ lives, and we’re able to make a living doing it.

3. Easy access to work… and the ability to turn it off when we need to. We have 24/7 access to our files, information, and more through the Internet, and sometimes it’s tough to leave work at work. Somehow, most of us manage to do that when it’s most important—and we generally know when to unplug to be with our families and friends.
